Hi everybody! Happy Tuesday to all of you! Can you believe that it’s almost November? This month has gone crazy fast, and I bet that November will too with all of my travel. I’m getting excited to head to Madison, Texas, and Minneapolis. But all of a sudden it will be January and busy time at work again. Sometimes I wish I could slow down time. I hope you guys are having good weeks! Mine has been pretty good so far, last night I went to bible study and tonight I’m hosting book club. I’ve told you already but we are reading Find Her. It will be fun to catch up with the girls and discuss the book!
It’s been about a month since the last Photos Lately and not too much is new. The biggest things on the agenda in the last month were Telluride Blues and Brews and a trip to Chicago (see post two here). I also went to Oklahoma City for work which was pretty uneventful (in the good work way). I’ve done a lot of Sept/October hikes and neighborhood walks too.
Photos Lately #5
Bear Creek Falls hike in Telluride. This one wasn’t very hard and we could walk there from town. It was about a mile of gradual uphill. It was perfect for my Texas friends, and a good way to get in a lot of steps before a 6.5 hour car ride.
I went to a United Way Women in United event where Simone Biles spoke and I was sooooo excited!! I also read her book last month. She’s a pretty cool kid!
Went hiking with some friends and their dog Gipson in Confer a few weeks ago. The leaves were yellow and perfect that day! Also, I love any hike that ends at a brewery or tap room. Props to Snowpack Taproom.
Won a few free tickets through work to Florida Georgia Line and Nelly. It was a really fun concert and a great Saturday night!
St Mary’s Glacier hike in Idaho Springs! It was chilly up there and there were people who were skiing and snowboarding!
The Badgers are 7-0 and I am so excited!!
This thai fried rice from Tag!
Snow on October 9th! Crazy crazy, but it melted quickly and its been nice in Denver ever since.
Friends at the United Way Charity event this month.
Sanitas is still my favorite hike in Boulder.
