Hi everyone! Still writing to you from Chicago. I’m excited for the work week to finish up, and be able to hang out for the weekend. Don’t get me wrong, these last few days have been fun. I learned a lot of things from my work training, it went really well. I’ve seen a few college friends so far and seen some relatives for dinner. Chicago for me is a great mix of college friends and family and an awesome cities. Today I wanted to get to my regular programming- Friday Faves #21.
Friday Faves #21
Find her- I finished this book a couple weeks ago for October book club. I will be hosting this month which I’m really excited about! This book is a Murder Mystery that has a few main characters, and it centers around a girl who gets taken and has to find her way out. It’s a really good book even though it is scary. I might have been nervous this week in my hotel room alone… But I highly recommend it! The story is really fun to read and uncover more.
Fall leaves- Fall, I love you. That is all.
-Poke Bowls- I told you guys about this in another post, but this Poke Bowl was amazing. I can’t wait to make more of them. I found it on The Active Kitchen , the recipe is in the episode show notes. FYI smaller Whole Foods sell frozen poke, you need to go to a bigger store to get fresh poke.
-Ski mag- I got a ski magazine in the mail. I just finished reading it. Airport trips and magazines go together in my book! And I’m so so so excited for ski season! The mountains have been getting lots of snow, so bring it on Winter!
