Friday Faves #23

Hi everyone! It’s FRI-YAY! This has been a short week at work with lots of meetings and lunches. It’s been good, but not as productive as I would have liked. This morning we have our office wide meeting, and tonight is our Holiday Party! Wahoo! I’m excited! And I’m taking a ski-cation for a couple days! Today I wanted to share a Friday Faves #23 post with you! It’s been quite some time since we did a Friday Faves post! Well that means I will have a lot to share with you! Also, side note, I’m at Friday Faves #23? That happened fast, it’s crazy to think about how long this blog has been up and running!

Friday Faves #23

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides– I’ve been putting this collagen in my tea each morning. It has protein in, and its odorless and flavorless. It really helps my hair and nails and it’s a good way to watch my hunger until lunch. I love starting my day with tea before I leave my apartment.

David’s Tea Holiday collection (or any collection)- I’ve told you about my love for David’s tea before. It’s such a fun store to visit in Chicago! I visited their Mall of America location on Black Friday and got some good stuff. I love these teas I’ve been drinking this year! What’s your favorite kind of herbal tea? Also, does it annoy anyone that chain coffee shops only have mint tea… bleh not as fun as other flavors.

The Best Yes– This book is written by Lysa Terkheurst. I told you guys that I read her book Present Over Perfect in April. This is another Christian Self-improvement book. Lysa talks about when to say yes and how to challenge yourself in situations. She talks about using your time the right way. I highly recommend this book!

Aaron Rodgers is back!!! The Packers play on Sunday the Carolina Panthers on Sunday am! I’m really hoping for a playoff run! I’m so happy he is back before the end of the season, and I still believe that the Vikings should have gotten a penalty for that hit.

Book Club Takes Breck. Last weekend I went to Breckenridge with some friends for a girls night. It was such a fun time to hang out with everyone! We were in the mountains for less than 24 hours, but we hung out at restaurants and breweries during the day. Then we got in comfy clothes, drank wine, and got in pajamas at the condo. We watched the movie Anastasia because it lightly related to The Secret Wife book we read. But it was a lot of fun to have girl time!
