Banff Dining Guide

Hi everybody! This week is going pretty fast, and I’m dreaming of the weekend. After work yesterday, I went for a longer bike ride. I went on the Highway 36 frontage road trail. This trail is also known as the US 36 Bikeway. My ride was about an hour long, and it was a lot of fun. Then we had a softball game which we won! Wahoo! In other news, I can’t believe its been a month since I got back from Banff.  I shared a bit about my banff trip here and here. Today I wanted to share with you my Banff Dining Guide!

Banff Dining Guide

Teahouse at Lake Agnes

Well technically this isn’t a place to eat, but it is an amazing hike with awesome views. There is a small teahouse with seating area, a patio, tea, and some small granola bar type snacks. It’s definitely a cool place to check out while in Banff.

Alpine Social at the Fairmont Lake Louise

This was the perfect lunch spot after our hike. We were tired, thirsty, and wanted to eat somewhere casual.  I got the sweet potato and black bean veggie burger, it was sooo tasty. My friends got the nachos and a burger which were also sooo good!

Park Distillery and Restaurant

Such good food after a day of adventuring! This restaurant was in downtown Banff and it had a sports bar feel but with great food and fun cocktails. I got mac and cheese and potato sides, and they were so good. My friends loved the rotisserie chicken sandwich!

Block Restaurant

This restaurant was Asian Fusion tapas style meals. I got a curry soup and veggie fritters, which were good. My friends got some Beef Tataki Rolls that were good as well! We liked this place in terms of food, but the service wasn’t great. It is a small restaurant that got really busy while we were there. People must have finished hiking and headed downtown to eat.

We went here for brunch! It was pretty good, but nothing to rave about. I got an Heuvos Ranchos (savory breakfast ALWAYS).

Iron Goat Restaurant.

Iron Goat is in Canmore and was closer to our AirBnb. We actually walked here (it was a bit long) but it was worth it. The views were great at dinner. I got a pasta dish which was really good, and my friends liked their dinners too! The craft beer selection was awesome as well! I would highly recommend this place!

Have you been to Banff before? Any places that I’m missing? I’d love to go back sooo let me know! Linking up with Amanda today
