Friday Faves #18

Wahoo Friday! As this post goes live, I’m running around my whole city to get my long run in for the week. Hopefully it goes well, check out insta stories for more info. And then a shower, and nap before MADISON here I come. It’s the first time in almost two years that I will be in Madison. I can’t for Wedding Celebrations and Friends and the Dane County Farmers Market, it tops all Farmers markets that I’ve ever been to. Before I head out of town, I wanted to share my Friday Faves with you!

Friday Faves #18

This weeks Friday Faves #18 will feature a few thing from the Midwest that I’ve been lovin! For all you Minnesota folk, make sure to check these things/places out.

Alchemy– I worked out at Alchemy a couple times this week. I got a first week free, which was an awesome deal. Alchemy is a set of studios that opened in MN in 2015.  Alchemy focuses on functional movements (moving in a way that your body naturally would) and adds cardio through quick movements. I went to their A10 class which is 40 minutes and 10 min of very high intensity with yoga stretches and poses. Next, I went to their A20 class which is 50 minutes long and 20 minutes of high intensity. I really enjoyed it and plan to go back in my next visit!

Fresh Thyme – went to this grocery store yesterday with a friend! It is similar to Sprouts in Denver, but they had great stuff and good deals. I highly recommend it!

Iphone 7 plus– I did a blog photo shoot with my sister yesterday. Her Iphone 7 plus takes a great photos! Also,  I had fun shooting with her! Thanks for the photos Chlo! I’m really happy with them, and can’t wait to keep showing them to you. I’m hoping to upgrade to an IPhone 7 plus when the new IPhone comes out, and I can’t wait!

Hilltop Restaurant- One of my family favorites- the strawberry shortcake is a must have. The atmosphere is great, and so is the food!

West End Shopping Center– The past few times I have been in town, I have met friends for food/drinks at this shopping center. When I was growing up there weren’t many stores or restaurants in this area, but now there are a ton! Now, there are a lot of fun places to eat including The Loop where I went. I got an amazing salmon rice bowl that I was really happy with.

Dislikes- Bush Lake Beach– On Tuesday I had planned to swim at the beach after work. After work, I got to the beach. Unfortunately, there was a high amount of bacteria in the water, so they didn’t recommend swimming. Boo! This would happen sometimes in the summer when I was a child, but I wanted to open water swim that day.

Any favorites of yours this week?
